Hi,
I'm new here. I ordered a new T60 and I was wondering if I got a good deal on it as far as the price. The specs are in my signature, and I also got the following:
- Free LENOVO MESSENGER CASE
- Free upgrade to Win Vista Business version.
Order Date: 12/14/06
Est. Ship Date: 1/18/06
Price: $1393 - tax included.

It is a good deal in the context of being a discount from regularly available prices. The caveats include that there are a bunch of Lenovo dealsites at any given time, those for IBM shareholders, Visa & MC holders, various other organizations that normally are going to be within maybe 10 percent of these prices any day of the year. But still, your deal is a bit better than that so if this is the computer you want, you got as good a deal as you could get short of having some sort of personal relationship with the company, Lenovo, that would get you a better deal. In addition, thinkpads are sold as a premium product and spec for spec, they cost more than Dells and HPs and Compaqs and Acers and almost all or all of the other brands of notebooks. If you value what Thinkpads offer as being worth the differential, then it is a good deal. If not, it would be cheaper to buy another brand and get the same specs for less than even these sale prices.
