Just recieved my 2nd replacement palmrest from Lenovo for my T60 today. Recieved one before this on Monday. What do I do with the additional part? What do I do with my old palm rest? Neither box has any return slip or any mention of it needing to be returned.

Brings me to my next question... anyone want a palmrest with a fingerprint reader

I recommend not unwrapping it and definitely not selling it for at least several days. They might call you and ask you to return it.

Yea, I only opened the outer shipping box to see what it was (hoped they accidentally sent a NMB keyboard), but once I saw that inner box I knew exactly what it was.

Just got off the phone with the Lenovo warranty department, and both are "destroy" items, so I can do whatever I want with them

Maybe Lenovo's way of saying Merry Christmas.?

Correct. The old one just need a dab of lithium grease on the bracing bar under the touchpad buttons, and the other is brand new. Well, the "used" one was a whole 4 days old to begin with.
