Be cool man... all of us are in a hurry... remember it´s Christmas time!!! Yes the keybboard keys vary according language characters, so the enter key has the rectangular and the inverted L shapes, plus some size changes to allow the disposition of the extra keys needed...

You are very welcome. :)

If you have any comments or suggestions, please call the customer support line at 1-(666)-555-4200 and you will be able to speak with the next available VMS computerized assistant with the new "Recursive Menu" technology. :D

Do you have the 15" model or the 14.1" model? It would also help to know where you are located regionally, preferably in your profile. :)

I've noticed in my travels that they do indeed change, like rleo25 said. The Japanese Return key, for example, is an L shape, while every english one I've seen is straight.

Try to remember that this is a user-to-user support forum and that no one here is paid to answer your questions. Mind your manners.

While you're at it, add your location to your profile. It's a requirement.

Growly, nxman, put your location in your profiles, Chris was being nice about it. Read the Sign Up Rules. It's there. :santa:

Nonny, looks like we were typing responeses at the same time :santa:

I have also noticed that difference, and my enter key looks the same as nxman's. It'd be interesting to know the reason for the difference. :) When I ordered my thinkpad I was worried that it'd be straight but it's the same as nxman's, I like that because I want a big button so that I don't have to look for it. :)

Oh dear - I only just noticed that it wasn't there. I entered it when I signed up though, so I thought.... wtf? *complies*

I also got the L shape.. which is the same as on any standard (desktop) keyboard here. The different layouts are not a thinkpad-only thing or something like that.
