Hello,
Is there a way to buy the plastic cover that goes over the LEDs on top of the LCD (Battery, AC Power, and Sleep)?
Thanks in advance,

Do I need to replace the whole LCD cover to get another plastic plate for the LEDs?

No. You need the Clear plate kit - Item 9.
14.1 inch LCD service parts - ThinkPad T60, T60p (1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2613, 2623, 2637)
EDIT: Link above fixed.

Where can I order the FRU part 41W4505? I just called Lenovo and they want me to send in the computer just to have them stick the plate on with glue.
Thanks

Isn't the clear plate on the interior side of the LCD? The OP wants the smaller clear plastic on the exterior side of the LCD.
BTW, I don't know why but Lenovo has made it impossible to copy URLs from their web site. The links you copied don't work.

The tech at Lenovo told me that I have to send in the TP regardless of which plate needed to be replaced.

Yeah, I just tried the number on the order site and it would not work. Not that unusual really.
I don't know if this is the number that you called or not: Call IBM parts help at 1-800-765-5944
In the past, others have ordered the Clear plate kit for the T4x series and received it. Search forum.thinkpads.com for Clear plate - choose Search for all terms. They report how the procedure they used to replace it.

Yeah, it's a problem. You need to make sure the following is in the web link:
document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid= Also any
.html has to be stripped from the end. I keep the above in a notepad file for quick copying and pasting.

Corrected link:

Usually I check and manually correct my links before posting them, but I forgot to check this time.
