Is it possible to "Tweak/Caliberate" the T60 LCD T

I have done a lot of searching here and on google - i was wondering if the LCD screen can be caliberated or tweaked on the T60.

I have the TFT SXGA screen and use it mainly for photoshop, but the colors, brightness and the contrast need a lot to be desired.

Is there any way to adjust the above on T60? I dont mind using a 3rd party software if that would help.

Originally i would have preferred flexview, but i didnt have the budget for it - so i have to make the best possible use of what i have now.

EDIT: Could some of the more technically inclined gentlemen here comment on this article ( http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_5.html )and if its a viable option

I have one of these and it works great. It does not work with the glossy LCD's, so your regular screen will be just fine. It plugs in via usb, and you place it on your screen for it to calibrate. Afterwards it rewrites your windows color maps and settings.

You do not need to have it plugged in for it to work, but if you want to use the auto detect ambient light feature, it must be pluged in via usb.

As i see it, with the current preloaded Graphics driver, there are no user options to set the above settings.

It most likely should do. Before installing the Catalyst drivers from lenovo's website make sure you have Microsoft DotNet Framework 1.x or 2.x installed on your machine.

The pantone huey changes everything automatically, it goes another step by remapping the color and gamma maps. It changes everything by adjusting the windows color profile. The only option you can change is what temperature setting to use. There is no way for any "manual" options with the pantone huey. If you want something more poweful, look into the spyder calibrating devices. But i've seen several reviews of the huey having better results.
