T60/T4x keyboard compatibility

When my T60 arrives, it will have a US keyboard. I wish to change this for a UK keyboard, and am quite happy with doing so.

I do however hate the windows key, purely because it makes the Ctrl and Alt buttons extremely small. This being so, I am considering attempting to replace the T60 keyboard with a T4x keyboard. Are these the same size and/or pin compatible?

Yes. You can configure that in the Keyboard Customizer Utility. You can assign the Windows key to be the Left Alt Key, Right Alt Key, or any of the shift or ctrl keys.

I would also reccomend the 'autohotkey' freeware utility instead, it can do almost everything with regards to keyboard remapping, macros, scripts and a whold lot more. I use it extensively for among other things remapping these keys...
