I like that, very tempting to have a candy apple red r52.

For me the durability is a big question mark. After all it's the weakness of most of the consumer laptops: after 2 yrs many of them look like sandpaper treated and the fancy (glossy) painting is gone.

When you click the "Send in yours" there is no Thinkpad.

Checked the price for a 15.4" Dell 6400, and the cost seems to be about $400

Well, my geeky mind would add stuff to the T60 for that amount.

But, way enticing.......................

Toine broke ground here by having his T40 powder-coated orange by metalfaceplates.com. underclocker soon followed suit by having his T40 powder-coated yellow by the same fellow.
