Rescue & Recovery for a 2nd disk

#1 Post by pedwards » Fri Jan 19, 2007 2:14 pm

Hi there,

Does anyone know if Rescue & Recovery can be configured to backup a 2nd hard disk? My T60 has 2 x 100Gb disks but so far I've only been able to backup the primary dirve.

Thanks
Paul

I believe it's deliberately crippled to only work on the primary partition. There used to be a "Pro" version you could buy that was uncrippled, but I'm not sure if it's still available.

What about the service partition on the disk; guess that this partition isn't possible to backup using RR and Symantec Ghost is needed or any other backup software?

The first disk has to be a CD, the other disks can be either a CD or DVD.

Thank you very much, that's what I exactly did.

All partitions should be listed on the "Set schedule and preferences" page. Select "Back up your HD" and press the "preferences" button.

It can save the backups to the 2nd HD as well.
