F.P. Problems during startup !

#1 Post by Truthfinder » Sun Jan 21, 2007 12:56 am

I have a T-60 which is going on three months old and have recently noticed, from time to time when booting up and I get to the point where I'm asked for my FingerPrint, I do what it asks and nothing happens. Sometimes it looks as if it is processing, but does not show if the print was accepted.
If after several tries, I get knowhere, I do a shut down and restart the computer and this go as they should.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? I have four fingers registered. Could this be causing the problem?

Thanks in advance for any assisstance in this matter !

I had the same problem but when i was resuming from stand by only (start up was normally working) with my 1 week old t60 , when i swap my finger (registered all my fingers) nothing happens and it seemed to process but i did not see the task bar and none of the buttons worked so it forces me to shut down by pressing & holding the power button. the problem was the client security solution, so i deleted and it solve it and working normally.
