I know this has been discussed before, I'm hoping someone has since made a discovery that will solve my problem.
At work, I'm charged with building a Windows XP image that will work across all of our IBM hardware. I have had it working for some time on T43, A52, S51, S50 and R52 hardware. I am using sysprep and ghost.
Now when I apply the image to the T60, I get the dreaded BSOD with error 0x0000007B.
I have copied the Intel storage drivers onto the build machine, and added the following to sysprep.inf:
Code: Select all
[SYSPREP]
BuildMassStorageSection = Yes
[SysprepMassStorage]
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27C5&CC_0106=C:\DRIVERS\OTHER\iaAHCI.inf
Has anyone had any success?
I think I've tried almost everything. It's a shot in the dark, but I'm going to try this:
1. Load image to T60
2. Boot in compatibility mode
3. Complete mini-setup
4. Install controller drivers to windows
5. Switch to AHCI mode
6. Boot to Windows
7. Sysprep + Burn
8. Test on R52, T43, etc
Are there any other suggestions?
Jimmy
