C2D OC?

I have a T7200 in a T60p. is there any way to overclock this CPU??

No. The PLC (clock generator) on the T60/p does not have multiple settings (locked at 667MHz FSB).

Which is a shame really b/c these chips should be able to hit 2.5-2.6GHz even on mediocre (aka laptop) cooling.

i know... maybe one day I will upgrade the CPU to the T7600G. should be a drop-in swap.

Don't get the G version. As I said, the CLOCK generator chip does not support multiple FSBs, so you can't overclock the CPU even if it has an unlocked multiplier.

These are business machines, and as such were never designed with boards that have any OC features.
