Fngerprint software issues

Ever since I did a safe reboot, I now have two extra steps when logging in. Before it would just ask me to swipe my finger, then I would be logged in. Now it asks me to swipe my finger, then it asks me to login (it brings up a screen with my name on it and all I do is press OK) and then it asks me to swipe my finger, and then I'm logged in. Any ideas? It does this for the screen saver password protection too.

When you booted into safe mode, a window should have informed you that the fingerprint software would be disabled for safe mode. For some reason it does not renable correctly when rebooting into normal mode. The only fix I've found is to run the Client Security Solution from the ThinkVantage programs folder, and use the Security Setup Wizard to reset the fingerprint software. Fortunately you won't have to re-register your fingerprints.
