Problem with T60 14.1" Samsung screen colors

Hi, I'm new on forums and not so good at english...

So I bought a 3 months used Thinkpad T60 laptop lately (2007-FRG model). It is my first laptop and I'm pretty glad with it. It's working alright and I have no problems with its performance or anything, but the problem is with its 14.1" Samsung screen.
At first it had some too bright colors, which I turned down with the ATI CATALYST Control Center utility using Gamma scroller. The problem didn't show up at that moment, but when I started browsing different webpages, that I had made, I saw completely different colours than there should have been - "simpsons yellow" was green in some places and dark blue was too bright (also black is dark grey, but I think I'm not the only one with that problem).
I tried calibrating with Adobe Gamma utility and uselessly with ATI Control Center, but it didn't fix it. Could it be a defected screen? What should I try next?

Thank you!

Search around these forums for more information on calibrating these screens.

Here's a link to a Microsoft tool that manages color calibration and profiles in Windows XP (via the Control Panel):

Really weird. I slightly changed Avivo color settings and that got it all fixed :)
