Need advice for a brand new mobo to my t60

Hi.
This morning I've been playing with the way that EC controls the fan speed. So.. using a osciloscope and a frequency generator...I tried to trick the EC.. elevating the reported fan speed to it. So.. here is the deal .. my fan is dead.. and I think my fan controler or somenthing llike that is dead to.. coz I cant get any readings from the pins.
I wanna change my T60 mobo.. since I cant live without my t60 .
Is there any issues if replace mine ( x1300 41W1364) by Intel 950 or a brand new ATI M66-256 (41W1407)

yeah. it is completely out of warranty...
As a computer engineer ..I really dont like the idea to cheat the support..
Its just me and my t60 =)

All boards fit in all t60 t60p ?

All of then have the same profile.. size. etc?

All T60/p boards have the same physical dimensions; boards are completely interchangeable.
