Hello, every. This is my first topic here.
:D
Since I didn't know I was able to order a set of recovery cd from Lenove official site, I just bought it from ebay. However, when I recovery windows xp pro from these CDs I got an error. I redo the recovery process 3 times and got the same error which seems like a dll file couldn't be found. Fortunately, it didn't affect the whole installation. I successfully finished the installation with all IBM's softwares installed. But, I found my video card's(v5250) driver was not installed. So I wonder whether I used a wrong version of recover cd, and are there different versions of recovery cd for T60/T60p?
My ThinkPad model is T60p(2613CTO) 14" SXGA+ with T7200 2.0ghz and Fire GL V5250.

Thanks in advance.

I guess the problem might be your thinkpad is a CTO model. 8)

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the model number. As far as I observe CTO means the CPU model of my ThinkPad. From the prospectus I know the 2613 is the machine type, but what does it represents?

CTO means Configure To Order. My model is also CTO, but the main chassis is a 2613HKU and the options were all added to it. I'm not sure why it's sometimes CTO and other times a real model number since they both were custom configured.

Hi

I actually tested the recovery myself the other day and the answer is NO.
The new T60 Wide have a different Recovery as the GFX card changed and the old driver won't install. I tested it myself with an old set for the older T60 and T60p and it gave me an error too with a file called oemXXXX.inf. And that error is the gfx driver.
I installed in manually afterwards and everything works fine now.
