volumn display

hi experts, i just did a fresh install of windows vista today and everything works perfect. however i just want to get the volumn display thing from IBm but i duno what that is called..
does anyone know the name and link to download? its for the display when you press the 3 volumn buttons beside ThinkVantage...

help would be appreciated.

ps: i can still control the volumn with those 3 buttons, just don't have the volumn display

You need to install the 'Thinkpad Configuration' utility - it has the options for displaying the on-screen volume indicators.

ok i installed that Configuration Utility
but when i press volumn (after restarting already) ..still nothing hapen.. do i have to change some settings?
(and it shows as Power Management in Program Control...)

do i need to install SoundMAX or something?
i can already use msn/skype videocalls

Yes, you have to change some settings in Thinkpad COnfiguration. Go to the 'Display' menu and navigate to 'On screen display'. You should see an option for this.

You should be posting Vista questions in the Windows VISTA forum. You will get quicker answers there. You need the Hotkey driver for sure and you may need the Lenovo Interface driver.

IIRC the hotkey driver will do the trick.
