T60p SXGA+ screen washed out question.

MyT60p with 14" SXGA+ screen has such a washed out look that the colors on the bottom half of the screen look completely different than the colors on the top. Obviously playing with the ATI control panel changes the entire screen, thus is no help.

Is this just a normal artifact of the screen not being a Flexview?

That screen has a small range of vertical viewing angles, that's why it looks different from top to bottom. When I had that screen I just tried to look at it straight on.
