Lenovo return options - new T60P

i have this T60P for 3 days now. i really like everything about it except its bulk. i am considering my options regarding returns. this is a 2613-CTO (customized order). i have obviously opened the seal and worked a bit with the settings internally but nothing major. i am wondering if the 15% restock fee is a given here. i don't know if it matters, but if i return it, that will be so i can order an X60 or X60T (and i don't know if lenovo takes exchanging into account with restocking fees).

anyone have recent experience with this, or suggestions? TIV

If you call and are very polite and honest about your situation they may work with you. If you don't get anywhere with the first rep you talk to then just call back and speak with someone else. I have found Lenovo/IBM's support to be very helpful in the past. Best of luck!
