T60 Core 2 Duo W2K Power Management

Has anyone run W2K on a Core 2 Duo T60? I have a user that has a Dell and a user with a HP that say they only get 1 hour of battery life do to known power management issue with Intel Core 2 Duo and W2K. The question posed to me was this an issue with T60's as well. Is anyone run into this?
