Wireless Issues

I just bought a T60ws with the 802.11abgn card. When the laptop resumes from standby when running on battery power the card will detect the wireless network and connect to it but a few seconds later it will disconnect and power off the card. The only way to reconnect is to restart the laptop. I thought it might have been the Thinkvantage access connect software or the power management software so I uninstalled both of them and am still having the issues. Short or a clean install is there any sugestions?

Also when you create a recovery disc can you do a clean install with it or do you need a differant disc?

There are issues with the power management of wireless cards on the T60. There are several ways to configure the power management without removing it completely.

for different things to try.

For me, disabling power management on the LAN _and_ the wireless card did the job. I also removed Access Connections and use XP to configure the wireless network,
