For - CTO systems(not pre-configured), the Lenovo Reps are telling me I have to have XP Pro as the OS if adding an N card. At least for t60's
Question
Ok, fine. But what happens if I get the free upgrade to vista later? Rep did not know answer.
Is this a compatibility issue, a vendor's relation or operations issue?
Did notice that gateway systems use the Intel N card with vista.
T60 - adding N card - Must use XP Pro?
Personally, I think you need to talk to a different rep. A Vista driver for the N card was released by Lenovo on Feb. 9, 2007. I can't see why they will not give you a CTO with the N card without XP.
