Access Connection 4.23 VS Windows Wirelesss Zero Config.

#1 Post by hoball » Fri Mar 02, 2007 11:25 am

Hello all,
The wireless network in my home was WEP encyprted. I made it to WPA-PSK + AES days ago with my Linksys WRT54G V5.

The Access Connection failed to connect with the correct WPA keys and settings, while the windows one can do it without problem.

Access Connection 4.1x also failed to connect WPA, only WEP works.

May I know if there is any solutions to make the Access Connection work again?

How many different wireless networks do you plan to connect to? If you don't need the profiles that Access Connections provides, you could be very happy with the Windows wireless networking (I am).

at least two :D

Just fixed the Fx+F5 problem of 4.23 and I can successfully connect to a WEP wireless network

I added a path to Intel/Wireless/Bin at the WinXP's Environment Variables

just have to try the WPA network
