Hi Guys,

I saw a test on a fareast internet forum about Intel T7500 (Engineering Sample, stepping: A),
and I'd like to know this CPU is compatible with T60 or not...
Is the i945GM chipset works at 800MHz (rated) (200MHz valid) FSB?

No, they'll have different pin-outs.

The T7700 will be Socket P, while the current CPU's are Socket M (I believe).

I guess the sockets are same, the pinout would be different.

It looks like both are Socket479 (M)
(would be compatible downwards and upwards)

Here is the article:

Uhhh....different pinouts means different sockets.

The T7700 / T7500 /T7300 are going to be Socket P models....they will not work in a Merom socket (Socket M).

Those chips will require the Santa Rosa chipset that Intel is releasing in Q2 of this year.
