Has anyone been able to use Ghost with T60ps? We have 4 different types of T60s. a 15" model, Type 8741 C4U Widescreen T60p, 14" T60p. and now just got a batch of type 8744 J2U T60ps preloaded with Vista.

We have different clones for T40/41 and then a clone for T42, T43, T60, and T60p. All because the previous clones are rarely compatable. I dont know what I'm doing wrong but now the type 8741 T60p XP clone will not work when pushed to the identical looking 8744 T60p with vista. Maybe I'm cloning wrong. We sysprep and then clone the disk with Ghost 8.2. Maybe this is how I lost the Thinkvantage partition. There is only a blinking cursor now.

Oh, and when I tried to push the T60 and T60p clones to the 14" T60p I get a signature error.

Trying this now: put the sata controller into compatability mode and tried pushing a sysprepped T60p image using -FDSZ. I don't believe the original image was taken with -IB or -IA

works, so I tried to sysprep it and then clone with -IB then it should work on by 8744 and 8741. But this time when i ran sysprep I had an warning message that my grace period is over. WTF MS?

okay re sysprepped with minisetup, answer file, and autoActivation. Now the clone pushes to both models and logs in as Administrator after ghosting. Had to use the -IB option when creating the image.

Sorry thinkpad users probably could care less, but just in case
