.NET Framework update

#1 Post by DavidR » Sun Mar 11, 2007 1:28 pm

I downloaded and installed .NET v3. Now when I go to the Windows Update site, it says I need to install security updates for .NET v2. Should I allow it to do this or will I corrupt my V3 install with a v2 update?

Individual .NET framework versions have separate independent installs.

You should install the V2 update. V3 is simply V2 with about four extra classes that extend its functionality. V2 is litterally a part of V3.

Don't be surprised if a moderator mods this thread outside the T60 forum.
Apathy is on the rise, but nobody seems to care.
