Model Differences, Documentation Errors ??

Hello Everyone,

Trying to choose a T60 or a T60p, I have narroved down my list to three models:
2007-8LU (UT08Lxx)
2007-8JU (UT08Jxx)
2007-8HU (UT08Hxx)

However, I have gotten lost among discrepancies in Lenovo documentation. I have four questions, for which I will appreciate your comments very much.

As far as the information in the "Personal Systems Reference - Lenovo ThinkPad Notebooks - February 2007 - Version 318" ( http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/me.nsf/webdoc ... tabook.pdf - from now on referred to as "tabook.pdf") goes, these three are listed at T60p models. However, at http://www5.pc.ibm.com/europe/products. ... d+T+Series - from now on referred to as the "Lenovo link", only one of them is listed as a T60p (UT08Jxx), and the other two (UT08Lxx and UT08Hxx) as T60. Which information is correct? Should I care?

Also, weight is a primary concern. The Lenovo link in lists two of them (UT08Lxx and UT08Hxx) as weighing 2.09 Kg, and one (UT08Jxx) as 2.34 Kg, although from the specification point of view I was not able to see any differences that could explain the 250 grams. Does anyone know where the difference is coming from?

Now, on the memory configuration: Two of these models (UT08Lxx and UT08Hxx) have a 2GB RAM module installed. If I were to add another 1GB module to the empty slot, for a total of 3GBs, will this asymmetrical configuration (2+1) work in dual-channel mode?

And lastly, the tabook.pdf lists all three models as using PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2, where as the Lenovo link lists only the UT08Jxx as using such memory, and the other two as using PC2-4200. Again, which information is correct?

Many thanks for the pointer, and apologies for having asked an FAQ.

I looked through the FAQ list, but was not able to find anything relating to the following two of the four original questions:
