Very annoying T60p 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless problem

My 802.11 a/b/g/n card drops the wireless connection as soon as I pull the computer off the AC power and it switches to battery power. It refuses to see any wireless access point when this occurs. The only way to get it back is to shut down and reboot the computer-nothing else works.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless driver, Access connections, updated everything. powered the card off and on using the switch on the front of the computer and via Fn+F5, disabled power management on the wireless card, double checked all of the power manager settings, etc.--nothing works to get it back but a power off and a reboot.
If anyone has had this occur or has any suggestions please let me know.
Thanks!
Eric

Well, as soon as I post all of that I see where a link to a new, very detailed review on a T60 widescreen via notebookreview.com. Just so happens the reviewer has the same issue, and finds that disabling the power managment on the WIRED ethernet driver fixes the problem. I have tried it and so far it works fine now-I can now switch to battery power and the wireless connection stays up!

How do you like your new T60 and what happened to the easyserv issue?

Thanks gator for posting that-I guess if I had done a bit more searching I would have found it, but you made it a lot quicker!
The T60p is very nice-although I do miss the standard form factor and lighter weight of the 4:3 models. I used my friends T60 with 14.1" screen yesterday, and it was just so much easier to move around and use-if I had to do it over, I would probably have not picked up the widescreen version.
But that brings me to you other question-I guess I won't have to worry about it as I will have a 14.1" T60 also! I need to go back and update my other thread-so look for the details there.

Many people are eagerly waiting for the 14.1" widescreen ... our dept is considering them for the next round of purchases (for profs) here ... we might be getting some for evaluation as soon as they come - 14.1" widescreen is a very good form factor, I personally like it after using my roommate's dell e1405 now and then. Its perfect for travel!
I will see your other thread for the ordealserv
