Hard disk issue with T60

Hi,

I try to install windows xp on the t60 laptop but it gives me this message " setup did not find hard disk drives installed on your machine". after that I reboot the machine and everything works fine ( i mean the hard disk). the problem is why i can not install windows and why windows gives me that message. I am sure there is a hard disk and works fine.
