Since websites speculate on the introduction of the new centrino platform (Santa Rosa or Centrino Pro) on May 9th, I think Lenovo might release a new version of the T60. This would be the T61, since it is based on a new platform. Any guesses on when this might be? I am thinking on upgrading my currently old T40p with a brand new T6x.
I am not familiar with IBM/Lenovo releases since I am a user for just over a year.
What is the past experience when Intel releases a new platform or chip? Is Lenovo/IBM quickly folowing with a new laptop, or do they tend to wait long? In other words, can I expect a T6x in June or maybe until late december?
