Thinkpad T60 Fan Issue

Hi all. I've noticed that there are multiple posts about the T60 Fan, and if I'm describing the same problem here I apologize. But I just bought a Thinkpad T60 Widescreen last week, and I noticed that there is a fan sound that is always on, which comes from the right-hand side of the computer. The main fan will kick in sometimes, but when it does it comes out of the left-hand vents like in my old Thinkpad; it does not seem to be on all the time. But, there is constantly a relatively quiet fan sound coming from what seems like the right of the computer. Could this be a video card fan? Do you guys think this is normal? I'm hoping I'm just being hypercritical because it's a brand new computer.

Hi, it is not a Fan, its the Harddrive.
Newer 5400 RPM HDDs are louder than the old 4200 RPM.

cu :)

Thanks

Killigrew, thanks very much for the response. I had assumed that my hard drive only made the normal "coffee grinder" sounds. It is a normal hard drive noise to have the constant "fan" sound going? I suppose that's just it spinning then?

Thanks again, I really appreciate it! I feel neurotic :)
