Illegitimate Add/Remove Entry

Last night, I uninstalled several programs that came pre-loaded on my Thinkpad T60 and now at the very top of my Add/Remove programs list is an entry titled "<no name>". It has no size, and there is no option to change or remove it. A Microsoft article suggested going into the registry and trying to identify the value of the illegitimate program, but either I don't know how to do that or did not see anything labeled "no name". Anyone have any clue what this could be and how (if it isn't risky) to remove it?

Thanks again all. I appreciate all of the help that you guys give.

Windows Install Clean Up usually works for me. It's a little program Microsoft put out themselves. Basically it shows everything on your Add/Remove list and you can choose to remove it. I needed it when I uninstalled some stuff but some stubborn entries wouldn't go away. Here's a link to their support site about the program:

And here's a direct download:

Hope it works out for you!

Redron, thanks so much for posting that. I will give it a try after I finish writing a [censored] paper that is due tomorrow. :) Do you think it is safe to remove this thing then, considering I have no idea what it is? I wouldn't want to remove it and then have something stop working.

Edit: Has anyone had any experience with a program called "CCleaner"? It supposedly cleans up your registry and removes traces of programs that uninstalled improperly. I don't want to use it if it isn't reputable/safe.

Thanks again!
