How woul dyou suggest to do that lengthwise or width-wise?

That's definitely stuck pixels in my opinion.

Even though this info is for lcd monitors but I am sure you can dig something out of it.

Also I'm not sure what's Lenovo policy on stuck pixels but these things usually go away when transistors inside the lcd start working again.

If they are stuck you can run a pixel exerciser like
UndeadPixel 2.1, which should help them get upstuck.

However, if they have always been there it may be a flaw in the screen. I had a laptop a year ago, which had a cluster of dim pixels in the upper left corner of the screen. Luckily for me it was a group of about 25pixels so, I was able to get the screen replaced.

Lenovo does have an exchange policy on the number of dead pixels

Not sure that this is what I see here, but I also though for a while that I had a dead pixel... but it was never at the same place.
After trying different methods to solve the problem, I figured out that my mouse pointer was changing into a mini scrollbar when precisely above the pixel. So it was actually an 1-pixel application (could not figure out which one). To solve the problem, when the mouse pointer is above the pixel, click. Then, press Alt+F4: the program closes and your "dead" pixel is gone.
