T60P Core Duo Vista Atheros 100% CPU Usage

Guys,

My thinkpad, for the lack of a better word, is wigging out when the wireless is enabled. CPU usage spikes to 100 percent without any process showing to be using that much CPU and the computer becomes nearly unusable. When I flip the wireless switch off all the problems go away. Does anyone have a similar problem or any ideas as to what it can be. Should i ask for an intel wireless module?

Thanks very much for the reply. I removed the Thinkpad Access Connection tool and everything seems to be alright.

For those reading this and wanting to keep their access connection, follow the link in the previoius post for how to turn off access connection logging, which is supposedly causing this problem. I wasn't using access connections anyway so I just axed it.

My high CPU usage problem is back. I dont have access connections installed. Any other ideas?
