Hi all,

First of all, I am new to this forum... so I hope I am posting this at the right place.

I was having the same Blue Screen - Parity Error, so I have been reading and following the Parity Error threads on this forum for quite some time. Anyway, long story short... I have managed to fix the parity error on my machine, so I thought maybe I can share this w/ you guys.

** Note: Please don't blame me if this solution doesn't work. All I know is that it is working for me. My laptop has been up and running for over a month now. **

After spending days of messing around... I found out that the source of the parity error came from the IBM wireless card driver for the Atheros wireless card.

So, I ditched the IBM wireless card driver, uninstalled the IBM Access Connections software (not sure if you have to do this) and I installed this other driver I found online.

Btw, this is a setup file... and I only installed the driver and not the actual software.

(I am sure there are other wireless card drivers out there, but this one works for me...)

I really hope this solution works for everyone who is experiencing this problem cuz I know how annoying it is. By the way, I am not a computer expert, so I can't explain why it works... but for those of you who are... I'd love to hear the reason behind it...

Please let me know if this solution fixes your laptop as well...
Allan
