PrivateDisk created by Client Security Solution (pass ?)

#1 Post by cybertof » Fri Mar 23, 2007 3:23 am

Hello,

When I use the Client Security Solution to generate the privacy policy, then is able to create in the same process a Secure Drive.

There is a default password associated to the Secure Drive.

What is it ?

It is not the administrator or current user password/css password.

Help :o

There is no default password that I have ever heard of. It either uses a certificate if you have one and have set it up to use it, or it uses the password you set.

It uses a randomly generated password for the private disk created initially via the CSS wizard. There is no recovery of said password that I know of. If you manually use Private Disk to create the drive, you can set the admin password yourself and not have to worry about it.
