T60P 6cell and 9cell battery

Hi,

First time IBM/ Thinkpad owner

My T60P will ship 4/11/07

ordered with
C2D 2G 4m, 100gb HD, 2GB ram 256 video and 9 cell battery

what I want to know is does the 9 cell battery stick out in front or back like the dells??

anyone has any pictures to show 6 cell and 9 cell?

Hi,

The 9 cells sticks out in the back, and make the machine slightly heavier than with the 6 cellers. Those are the cons, but the pro is insane battery life =)

i know Thinkpad owners are crazy for their thinkpads and have done some crazy posts
but i cant find one for weight
do you or anyone else know the weight with 6 and 9 cell?

I think the only weight difference is 150grams between the 6cells and the 9cells battery.
The ordernary weight is ~2.1 kg.

The stick out battery makes an excellent hand grip when you are using your laptop on your arm
