Disable sound that occurs when startup from hibernation?

#1 Post by propellen » Wed Mar 28, 2007 2:23 pm

Hi,
I've done this:
1. Open the Device Manager
2. From the View menu, select "Show Hidden Devices"
3. Under "Non plug-and-play drivers" find the "Beep" device
4. Right-click and disable it.
The method above disables all the other sounds, but one beep/sound still occurs when i resume from hibernation mode..
Any suggestions?

:D
Thanks

There's a setting in the power manager that says 'Beep when power state changes', under 'Global Power Settings'. I unchecked it, and I don't have that beep.
