Displaying correct monitor when docked

When I dock the T60, the presentation manager no longer dispays my preferred setup; external digital monitor as the primary display with the T60 display disabled. The "Immediatly apply this display sheme: WORK" is still checked. In addition, when I undock, my normal display scheme is not loaded. The T60 display is active, but at a resolution set in the WORK scheme. This started occuring few months ago and I manually changed the display schemes by activating the Presentation Director by pressing Fn+F7. I think this problem started when I hot undocked the T60. I unistalled/installed the Presentation Director. This did not help.
Now another T60 is doing the same think, except that it is my boss' T60. For my boss, I had to change the CMOS battery (for some odd reason). After replacing the CMOS battery, his preferred scheme worked for a few test power on/offs. Then started behaving like mine.
Is their something in the BIOS I am overlooking that may have been changed? I am running the default settings in the BIOS for both T60's
Thanks in advance for the help.
And thanks for the postings on the T60 turning off when hot docking. I always wondered why this was!
