I have a T-60 with a 90 GB hard drive. Yesterday, I noticed that something funny with the disk space. Windows says I have 72 gigs used but a folder by folder size check, including hidden and system files/folders can only account for 40 gigs. I defragged the drive, checked for viruses and emptied the recycle bin. Yet the hard drive space has vanished.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

You may have a large or several hdd backups located in the root of your harddrive. The rrbackup folders is hidden and protected, but if you check the thinkvantage->rescue and recovery->view my backups, itll let you know if you have any of these files.

Could be System Restore. My System Restore is taking up 13GB according to FolderSizes

If you are using Rescue and Recovery (I highly recommend it), then make sure you turn of Windows System Restore. It is redundant, and then your RnR backups contain your Windows SR backups, which eat more disk space.
