Hi,

I just bought a Thinkpad Advanced dock and the shop that sold me the 3 monitors with stand (digitaltigers.com) sent me a PCI express card that they told me would work with the advanced dock. They sent me: VISIONTEK X1300 PCI 256MB / VT-X1300PCI256

I thinkt his card is not PCI e but it's actually PCI. Well I'm not sure.

But the thing is it won't fit into the T60 PCI express slot. So I'm sending this one back and I want to buy one that fits 100%, I actually found this one:

Does anyone have a better suggestion?

Thanks,
Josh

As stated in the thread:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... &start=150

the ONLY Lenovo-approved solution is the Lenovo X1300LE
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-67432

Note this is an X1300LE - a specific Low-Power Enterprise Edition of the card, designed to draw low power from the dock. Other cards are unapproved, and if they draw more than 50W they may damage the dock.

Nonethless, others have had success with other cards, notably other PCI-e Radeon X1300 cards and Geforce 7600GS .

best,

Mark
