Vista Power Scheme issues

I have problems with my T60 (Type 2007) and Vista. When booting or switching to a new power scheme the machine uses display brightness settings for running on battery even when running on AC (but only when using Lenovo Power Manager).

When going to battery and back to AC everything is OK. After the display switched off due to the timer settings everything is OK too.

I think it´s a Lenovo Power Manager (2.01) bug because the problem is gone when using Windows to switch power schemes.

Power management driver and system interface driver are installed.

Thanks for any help.

I'm having the exact problem on my X60s with Vista. Probably it's a problem with Thinkvantage Power Manager

Any idea

mappoint, I am curious is this a factory installed Vista machine or did you install Vista yourself?
I'm having power mgmt issues myself, not what you are describing but it's not dialed in just yet.

Self-installed Vista here, all current ThinkVantage updates installed according to System Update, and similar problems with the display brightness. Usually what I see is the display dropping down to the lowest brightness (which is what I configured for the battery profile) even though I'm on AC. It seems this is sometimes triggered by waking up from sleep or opening the lid (closing the lid is configured not to do anything). I haven't been paying close attention though, since it is just a minor annoyance. I'll see if I can nail down the exact cause of this.
