Problem Undocking with Vista and external HDs

Hi,

I'm loving my new T60 with Vista, however there are some small annoyances, the main one is as follows:

When I try to undock my T60 from it's advanced mini dock by pressing the dock eject button, I get the message 'Problem Undocking' Windows cannot shut down 'generic volume'... I have 3 external hard drives connected via USB to the dock. The fix is to turn off the drives before undocking, but this seems not so good.

Any ideas on a solution? Thanks!
