How can I enable both the NIC cards while I'm in docked to the advanced docking station?
I tried to see if one of the cards automatically became disabled in the Device Manager, but no. I also made sure to Unhide all devices and that didn't work either.

No, you can't. There's just one internal device. And it's port-replicated out the dock.

If you need a dual-homed network, you can always add a PCMCIA or USB ethernet controller.
