ThinkPad T60 15" WideScreen (WXGA)

I am in the process of ordering a T60 Widescreen 15".
I noticed that this is composed of Carbon Fiber reinforced top cover vs what I am used to which is the magnesium top cover on the 4:3 T60's. Will I be disapointed with the screen flex and the ruggedness of the display. I had a hard time deciding, and was comparing what I have now a T60 XGA 4:3 (with mag) which weighs in at 5.5lbs, and the WideScreen which weighs in at 6.08lbs.
I am a big fan of the T's and considered the R's but thought better.
Your feedback is appreciated.
John.

My experience with the T60 widescreen was that it was very stiff and rugged feeling.

I've played around with a T60 15,4 a few times and I must say my impressions were goood regarding stability. I'm no engineer, but a 4:3 format has got to be more "inflexible" than a 15,4, which I think is the case, but it felt really good. (10x better than any other 15;4 I've got my hands on).

Would the 15.4" survive a car running over it like the 14" did? (google: Legends of Thinkpad for the video) Probably not, or maybe it would... I honestly don't need to find out.
I have the 15.4" and it is very rugged and stiff. To give you an idea compared to other computers, with my old Powerbook G4 (same casing as the new Mac Book Pros) if you tap hard enough on the backside of the LCD, the screen would distort around the pressure coming from the back. Also, if you moved suddenly, the screen would flop slightly and would have to be re-adjusted.
With the macbook (13"), it was more rugged but I would have to clean my screen constantly because of the plastic flex, the screen would touch the keys and pick up oil.
With my T60 15.4, even though I stuff it in my laptop case with even more things than the Mac laptops, it doesn't flexed much at all, and I don't see any smudges picked up from the keys.

Thanks for the feedback.
I love the t60 I have, but have to return it to work, and buying a new one.
Of course in a few weeks there will be something new... as in 14" with Wide

Is this a 14.1" model with a 9-cell battery?

This is also with a 9-cell battery, right?
