In today’s age, laptops not sporting a widescreen LCD are less conducive to productivity and, let's face it, they're terribly uncool.
LOL apparently they haven't seen this thread!

Just a little querie here; they as experts test notebooks and report on them. Some things impress and some things don't - I can accept that - no probs. BUT why as an expert do they refer to the 15;4 WSXGA+ as 16:9 when it's actually 16:10. An expert should have his facts right or :?:
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer

Yeah the review said that 1680x1050 is the highest res for a 15.4" laptop - guess he hasn't seen the WUXGA Z61p.

In the reviewer's defense, among currently available 15.4" laptops, 1680x1050 is the highest. The Z61p and the Dell Inspiron 6000 have both been discontinued.
