Need advice on upgrading HD on t60

#1 Post by puma » Tue Apr 24, 2007 9:21 am

Hey guys, I need some advice on an HD upgrade for my t60ws. Right now i have the 5400rpm 80 gig that came with the machine. this is not enough for me. I seen a 160gig that looks good but it is stilll a 5400.. anyone know of a 7200 hd? also, how much more heat does this drive create?

Thanks

See this recent thread for a short discussion about heat dissipation and power:

As a summary for SATA, a lot of mixed observations regarding speed, noise, vibration, heat, etc.

Largest is 160GB 5400RPM (200GB soon or already available)
Fastest is 100GB 7200RPM
