Best Multiple Monitor solution for T60?

I am looking into buying a brand new T60 15" UXGA IPS TFT FlexView w/256MB ATI Mobility FireGL V5200 or the 14.1" SXGA+ TFT w/ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128MB card.

I want to add three external 20" standard size (not widescreen) LCD panels (Samsung 204B most likely) which I will probably need to run at 1024 x 768 (or up to 1600 x 1200 max) for my stock market charting, analysis and trader workstation software.

What's the best solution for adding the three LCD panels?

I have come up with two options, not sure which is the best way to go and the pros/cons (I am not a techie...but I am learning!):

1. Buy an Advanced Dock and add a PCI-Express video card. This seems problematic from what I have read in the forum in that there are issues in getting the right card to work, updating the BIOS, etc. Not to mention this is more expensive with the cost of the advanced dock and the PCI Express video card.

2. Buy a Matrox TripleHead2Go - a $300 solution, it seems very simple to install/use. Not sure if there are any negatives to this approach for what I am using the setup for, but PC gamers seem sold on it (I'm not a gamer). Overheating the T60? Other issues?
