What happened to EPP

#1 Post by pae77 » Thu Apr 26, 2007 3:47 pm

When I try to go to the EPP site, I get the mastercard small business site. Anyone know what happened to the EPP site.

The IBM one only has old refurbished laptops. The lenovo link I have only takes me to the mastercard small business site.

Searching for EPP on Lenovo's site and clicking on the links that come up also take me to the mastercard site.

Mod Edit: Please follow the forum rules.
Rules of this Road wrote:2. Do not post links, model availability, or pricing information from sites that restrict their purchasing to specific narrow groups (e.g. EPP [employee purchase] or specific Education sites). The members of these institutions can find their information through their employer or organization. Posting the links or information without prior permission from Lenovo/IBM is of questionable legality. Those that are entitled to these discounts have no problem finding the site directly from Lenovo/IBM, their employee friend, or their school bookstore.

Mod, sorry to violate the rules. I didn't remember that the limitation extended past pricing - it won't happen again.

Thanks for the advice.

I was using FireFox. I tried deleting cookies and clearing cache. I still kept getting the mastercard site until I accessed the site in IE instead of FF (using the IE Tab extension). Once I did that, I got to the correct EPP site and was able to access it. Don't understand it but I guess I'll just have to use the IE engine via the IE Tab extension to access it from now on.

Again thanks for the advice.
