i found the thinkpad full screen magnifier function (Fn + Space) is pretty annoying. all the icons on the desktop will be arranged to new places after restored to the normal resolution. i am wondering that if there is any way the disable the function. does anyone know it?

There is a way to do this. Go to Start-->Thinkvantage-->Thinkpad configuration, and then click the "Display" button on the top. Then go to LCD,and you will see an option for screen expansion.

Uninstall the "ThinkPad FullScreen Magnifier" using the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel.
