Need advice on an order

#1 Post by wood2008 » Sat Apr 28, 2007 2:04 pm

Hi, guys!

I just ordered an older model of T60 from Lenovo outlet yesterday, but the status still shows "in process". Is there anything wrong? and there is no sales rep calling me so far!

So what is the normal process for ordering from the website? Did you just order and wait and check the order status? or you'd need to call the sales number?

Is this model worth $1015 (tax included)? I just need a reliable and affordable laptop. Thank you so much for your input!

ThinkPad T60
Intel® Core™ Duo 2GHz
Windows® XP Professional
14.1" SXGA+ Display
Intel 802.11abg wireless
1Gb Ethernet
512MB RAM
80GB Hard Drive
CDRW/DVDRW
64MB ATI Radeon X1300
Integrated Fingerprint Reader

Looks fine. Keep checking your order status. They will also send your an email when your order is shipped.

Thank you, madcow! How do you think of the machine? is it worth the money?

in the confirmation e-mail, there is an order description:

T60 T2500 14"SXGA+ 64MB GX 80 512 MULTI ABG XPP 6CL 3Y

does this mean it comes with three-year warranty?

I don't mean to be rude or anything. But there is a sticky thread "upstairs", you guys have been posting about exact same issue there too, so I don't see a point of starting a second thread and double posting at both places. This is against the forum rules.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Thank you for pointing out my fault. These were my first 2 posts in here. After posting in the sticky thread, I thoght starting a new one would draw more attention, because I need advice urgently.

512 MB of RAM is a bit low. You will want to upgrade it when you get the machine. I bought 1 G of RAM from new egg for $50. Everything else about the machine is good.
